Phil Jones admits he was intimidated when first joining Manchester United.

Jones admits first stepping into the Old Trafford dressing room was a daunting prospect, but the faith of manager Sir Alex Ferguson helped ease him in.

He said: "There is definitely a bit of personal intimidation.

"You always raise the question to yourself. Am I good enough to be here?

"The manager has shown that faith in me. Hopefully I have repaid it.

"I found it relatively easy to adjust though, because at Blackburn I always saw myself as a player who likes to get the ball down, which is what United love to do."
