Jonas Gutierrez has taken a pop at Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley after yesterday's release.

The 31-year-old battled cancer during his time with the Magpies and appeared to suggest he was given no support by Ashley in his bid to overcome the disease.

Gutierrez will exit the club alongside midfielder Ryan Taylor, who also hasn't been offered a new deal.
