Newcastle United winger Jonas Gutierrez is looking forward to making his home debut tonight against PSV Eindhoven.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "I cannot say how much I am looking forward to playing at St James's Park for the first time.

"We have some good games coming up against PSV Eindhoven and Valencia.

"They are both technical teams and it will be good for me to get familiar with the home stadium."

Gutierrez caused a frenzy amongst the Spanish media at the ONO Stadium with cameras keen to catch a shot of him in his new club colours.

Speaking on the trip to his old stamping ground he says: "It was good to go back to Majorca and see some of my friends. I wanted to go there and help Newcastle win something at my old club."
