Jonas Gutierrez believes Newcastle United will have to cough up a fee to former club Real Mallorca for his signing.
Mallorca have launched a civil action against United, demanding a mighty 15 million euros for a player who insisted he was entitled to leave them for nothing in the summer.
Asked about the court case, due to be heard in February, Gutierrez told the Sunday Sun: "They (Mallorca) are asking because they have to ask for money.
"They ask for a high price, but I think FIFA are going to put a normal price on it."
