Jol in crisis talks with Spurs chairman Levy

The Daily Mail says Levy demanded answers from the Dutchman, who discovered yesterday he will be without star striker Dimitar Berbatov for the next two weeks with a groin injury, after successive defeats against Sunderland and Everton.

Levy, who has backed Jol to the tune of £40million in the transfer market already this summer, made it clear he expects the team to gain their first win of the season against Derby at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Although there was no question of Jol losing his job last night, Levy expects Spurs to be challenging for a Champions League slot come May.

That task will be made even harder after Berbatov was ruled out for two weeks with a groin injury and Younes Kaboul limped out of the 3-1 defeat against Everton with a hamstring strain. He will be missing for a month.
