Fulham manager Martin Jol felt a sense of relief as Fulham progressed to the fourth round of the Capital One Cup with a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Everton on Tuesday night.
The Cottagers conceded to Steven Naismith early before replying through Dimitar Berbatov ten minutes into the second half prior to Darren Bent's eventual 68th minute winner.
The victory was one much-needed by Fulham following three matches without a triumph and Jol admitted he was comforted by the result.
"It's a big relief," Jol said.
"It was a long time ago since our last win against Sunderland (on opening day), and today we wanted to get back to winning ways.
"It has not been easy, but in the second half with Berbatov and Bent there was enough goals and if there is enough goals we can win."
