Johnson will arrive at Wolves as most expensive signing - and highest earner
Roger Johnson will move to Wolves not only as their record signing, but also the club's highest earner.
The Daily Star says Wolves boss Mick McCarthy expects to finalise the details of Johnson’s switch from Birmingham City today after the defender completes a medical at Molineux.
The deal is worth a club equal record £7 million.
Johnson, 28, is set to become the club’s highest earner on a four-year deal worth around £40,000-a-week as Carson Yeung’s fire sale at St Andrew’s continues.
