Manchester City have secured the services of Adam Johnson until 2015.

The 24-year old England winger still had two-and-a-half years left on his contract but has signed an extension which will see him remain at Etihad Stadium for the long-term.

Johnson joined City from Middlesbrough in January 2010 and has battled for a spot in the first team ever since but it appears as though he is happy at the club after putting pen to the new deal.
