Adam Johnson insists his commitment to Manchester City should not be questioned.
Despite his star turn against Juventus, Johnson is not certain to start when Newcastle visit Eastlands. Clearly he has been irritated by suggestions that he has lost some of his focus.
"Every time I obviously give it my all. I think if I'm playing well, I think I must be doing things right off the pitch as well as doing it on the pitch," said Johnson. "A lot has been made of it but it hasn't affected me. I just get on with it, get my head down. It didn't really faze me to be honest.
"You'd have to ask other people if too much has been made of it. Every time I play I give it my all."
