Adam Johnson is convinced his January move to Manchester City can open the door to a late England World Cup call.
Johnson only moved to City from Middlesbrough during the winter market, but his profile is such that there's growing calls for him to be given an England chance.
He said: "I think the profile is bigger at City. You are on Sky TV every week and get talked about about all the time.
"Everyone wants to watch us, with all the big players we have and all the money that has been spent. This is the best place for me to get seen and to progress my career.
"We have so many world-class players. I was on the bench with Patrick Vieira and that is very different to what I am used to. I think when you play with world-class players, that brings you on - even in training."
