Sunderland winger Adam Johnson says he loves the passion of manager Paolo di Canio.

Johnson says the Italian's enthusiasm and passion is rubbing off on the squad.

"He's so enthusiastic and he just loves the game; I think every minute of the day he's talking about the game or watching videos of games," the England international told safc.com.

"He still likes getting involved and having a kick-around which is good."
