Johnson has been working hard since training misdemeanor says Wolves boss

Wolves manager Terry Connor says defender Roger Johnson has worked extremely hard to get back into the team since he turned up for training under the influence of alcohol.

The former Birmingham City star showed up to training earlier this month allegedly worse for wear after a night out and has struggled for game time ever since.

Connor says that there is no problem between he and Johnson and has revealed that the centre-back has been doing his best to get back into the line-up ahead of the weekend's meeting with Norwich City.

"He's been there every session, working hard, and is ready to go," Connor told Express & Star.

"There's a first time for everything if it's the first time (I play him).

"He wants to play, he wants to compete, he wants to win and he reminds me of that.

"He lets me know he's available, and that's fine, I've no problem with that whatsoever.

"His chances of playing are the same as last week and the week before."
