Michael Johnson is delighted his former Academy teammate Shaun Wright-Phillips is back at Manchester City.

"He's always had the ability and at Chelsea it was stop-start," the midfielder told City's website.

"You need to have a run in the team, like he's doing here, to keep your confidence up and keep developing. That's what he's got here and look at him."

As for himself though, his targets for this season remain clear: "Just to get fit at the minute!

"If I get fit and back into this team then hopefully I can have a good season, push on from last year and go for a higher placed finish."
