Bournemouth are set to sign free agent John Terry on £100,000-a-week contract, according to The Sun.

The report claims that Cherries boss Eddie Howe has already held talks with the Chelsea legend regarding a potential move to the Vitality Stadium and initial indications suggest that both parties are keen on a deal.

The 36-year-old, who spent 22 years with Chelsea, became a free agent this summer after he was not given a new contract by the Blues.

He is expected to sign a one-year deal with the South Coast club.
