COMMENT: The Crystal Palace performance was probably the best of the season from Chelsea.

They were no match for us, simple as that. It, to me anyway, felt like the Chelsea of last season.

It was great to see the support for John Obi Mikel in particular. Our fans sung his name endlessly. He has come under a lot of criticism over the last few years, so it's good that he is recognised for the positive stuff too.

I genuinely think the Palace game was one of his best performances in a Chelsea shirt to date. The only performance I can think of that was better off the top of my head was the 2012 Champions League Final. In fact, the best thing I think Mikel probably did in that match was put Arjen Robben off his penalty! What a man!

Now onto another player that has had a fair bit of criticism this year: Diego Costa.

Quite simply, he looked like the Diego Costa of last season. Since Guus Hiddink has come in he has really pulled it out the bag. It's just infuriating that he didn't do that before Jose Mourinho was sacked.

Now the post wouldn't be complete without a mention for Willian.

Undoubtedly he has been our player of the season so far, and I find it hard to think any different. I can't see anybody beating him to that award at the end of the season. His goal was fantastic, and caused absolute bedlam in our end. Complete and utter bedlam in the away end.

Hopefully this is the turning point...
