Johansen wants Celtic to clinch title at home

Stefan Johansen is eager for Celtic to win this season's title at home next weekend.

The Hoops, who have won the past two Scottish Premiership titles, beat St Mirren 3-0 at Parkhead on Saturday to remain 24 points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.

This Wednesday they head to Partick Thistle for a midweek fixture before returning to Glasgow for a home meeting with Ross County and Norwegian midfielder Johansen is looking to celebrate with the Celtic Park faithful if the Bhoys can get the job done.

"We have an away game in midweek and then hopefully we can win the league at home next weekend against Ross County so it's an important week for us and we've started it well," he said.

"It would be good for the fans to win it at home next weekend but I hope we win it as soon as possible to be honest.

"It would be good to just get it done but I think it would be a fantastic game here if we have the chance to win it here in front of our own fans, who are great."
