Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen was delighted for Leigh Griffiths after he put off-field issues aside to score on the weekend.
The controversial striker netted the Hoops' third goal in their eventual 3-3 draw at Motherwell even though he is currently wrapped up in an investigation regarding offensive and racial chants made towards Heart of Midlothian when supporting former club Hibernian recently.
Griffiths has been charged by the SFA and will undergo a hearing later in the week but Johansen was happy to see him concentrate on his football on Saturday and net his sixth league goal in 10 appearances for the Scottish champions.
"It's good that he scored but Leigh has done very well since he joined Celtic," said Norwegian ace Johansen.
"There is a bit of pressure on him but he always delivers. Leigh is a fantastic footballer and, yes, we were all happy for him.
"If you see him in training every day he looks sharp. He is a great goalscorer."
