The Griffiths brothers took each other in the Chinese Super League on the weekend and it was defender Adam who had the last laugh despite Joel scoring for Beijing Guoan.
The former Newcastle Jets star hit the target in the 13th minute at Beijing's Workers' Stadium but Adam and his Hangzhou Greentown teammates managed to equalize thanks to Luis Ramirez before scoring twice more to run out 3-1 winners.
The goal was Joel's second of the season, backing up his season-opening winner at Jiangsu Shuntian last weekend, but it was Adam who saw his side record a second win to remain at the top of the table with two wins from two.
