Inter Milan midfielder Joel Obi says he's on the brink of a playing return.

The Nigeria international has been out since February through injury.

"I am missing football a lot," he told reporters. "But that is a normal thing [when you're injured].

"My recovery is going well though. Hopefully I will soon be ready to take to the field again.

"When I return I will be even stronger."
