Joel Obi was delighted to be on the mark for Inter Milan in their 1-1 draw with AC Milan.
A magnificent Jeremy Menez volley was wiped out by Obi, as Roberto Mancini begins with a Milan derby draw.
"It went well and I finally scored," Obi told Sky Sport Italia. "We wanted to win, but a draw is acceptable.
"During the week the Coach tried different options and we were all ready to play. He can give us so much: if we listen to him, then we can achieve great things.
"Now we have more options with the ball, which is especially an advantage for us midfielders. I prefer this tactical system. Mancini had been testing me for a few days, so I figured I would start.
"Mancini asked me and Guarin to push up and give Kuzmanovic more space between the lines."
