Joe Cole was disappointed for Chelsea teammate Ashley Cole after the England fullback was forced off with an ankle injury early in the second-half of yesterday's 3-0 defeat of Estonia.

Cole told thefa.com: "I am very upset for him because he has had a lot of injury troubles and I know myself what it is like.

"We have played together for a few years and have got a good partnership. He is a great player and will be a big miss for us.

"I just want him to get back fit because I know how downhearted he will be getting injured."
