Joao Mario was delighted with his Premier League debut.
The West Ham United midfielder, signed on loan from Inter Milan last week, was thrust right into the thick of the action, as David Moyes handed him his first start in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Mario managed to play the full ninety minutes, and speaking after the game, the 25-year-old felt fresh despite not playing significantly for Inter this season.
He told Sky Sports: "The team helped me a lot. The Premier League is really difficult.
"It's my first game and I feel great. I need to work hard to help my team."
