Joao Mario accepts the whistles of Inter Milan fans this season.

Mario stated over the summer he was desperate to quit Inter and Serie A after spending the second-half of last season on-loan at West Ham.

“All I want to do now is change those whistles into applause," Mario told Sky Italia.

“It's always difficult when your own fans whistle you, but I can understand why. I think there's a problem with body language, sometimes it seems like I'm not there [on the pitch].

“It's something I have to improve, because I have the desire to do well."
