Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Joan Verdu is calm over his contract situation.

Verdu's deal expires in June and he said: "If I continue in this form, everything will be easier, but we will need to talk.

"I know I have already had a call from the club and they have spoken to my agent, but only that. I'm calm. If it is now, it is now, and if at the end of the season, then I'll wait.

"I do not want to get distracted from that."
