Germany coach Joachim Low has emerged as a candidate for Zinedine Zidane's job at Real Madrid.
After defeat to Barcelona on Sunday, Zidane has come under huge pressure with Real now dropping to second place on the LaLiga table.
And should Atletico Madrid knock Real out of the Champions League, the Frenchman is likely to be shown the door.
Zidane has been well aware of the situation and admitted only this month: "Am I sure to continue? No, not at all, that's why I'm not preparing anything. I'm working on what I have left this season.
"I know what it's like to train Real Madrid for good and bad and I'm prepared for everything."
Low, reports AS, is under serious consideration for Real president Florentino Perez. While his contract with the German FA runs to 2020, it includes a break clause should major clubs come calling in the class of Real.
