Ipswich boss Paul Jewell was less than pleased at how some January transfer deals involving the Blues were leaked by other clubs. Portsmouth and Crystal Palace made bids for David Norris public, with the Eagles also vying for Damien Delaney.
Preston said they rejected a Town offer for Sean St Ledger and Hull revealed details of Jimmy Bullard's loan move.
"It's unnecessary," Jewell told BBC Radio Suffolk. "It's not the way I do business, but it's their prerogative."
He added: "Sometimes they're doing it to unsettle the players, sometimes to try and appease their own fans.
"It's a bit unfortunate, I don't particularly like it but I'm a big boy, it's not going to change my life."
