Derby County boss Paul Jewell is coy over his interest in Plymouth Argyle fullback Paul Connolly.

Jewell said: "I can't comment on speculation.

"If people are flying kites and they fly 25 kites, they may get one right. There's no point commenting on speculation.

"We are working extremely hard behind the scenes to get players for next season, to get competition in the squad.

"If I commented on every name that's linked with us, I'd be here all night."
