Chivas USA captain Jesse Marsch is more than looking forward to his team's mid-week encounter against Chicago Fire in Los Angeles this week.

Speaking at training yesterday Marsch said, "This is probably the marquee matchup of the first third of the season.

"It's the two best teams playing against each other. It's a little different, a little more special."

Marsch who played for Chicago Fire at the start of his MLS career spoke of his experience.

"I have a lot of great memories from playing back in Chicago and I still have a lot of connections with the coaching staff and some of the players," said Marsch. "I'm really excited."
