Jesse Lingard was back in action for Manchester United U21s yesterday.

The midfielder has recovered from a knee injury suffered on the opening day of the season and was given 79 minutes by coach Warren Joyce against Norwich City.

Lingard came close in the first-half with a superb volley.

Adel Gafaiti sent Norwich ahead in the first-half before Josh Harrop struck after the break to earn a point for United.
