Crystal Palace striker Cameron Jerome is delighted over the improving partnership with Marouane Chamakh.
Both strikers struck in victory over Cardiff City.
Jerome said: "It's not really a conventional two as such, it's sort of one off one and we share the workload. When you work hard, you get your rewards.
"We seem to have a good understanding and we are hitting it off well. Long may that continue.
"It's back-to-back wins now. It's really important that we've closed the gap but, more importantly, we've got to keep it up now."
