Stoke summer signing Cameron Jerome is looking at scoring into double figures for his new club as he did at his previous berth with Birmingham. The 24-year-old striker faces stiff competition after the international break from the likes of Peter Crouch and Jon Walters with former record signing Kenwyne Jones and Ricardo Fuller yet to return.
Jerome claims 10 goals is a realistic target, believing the Potters receive negative press, for their style of play.
"With the people we have here supplying ammunition from the wings, I think double-figures is definitely achievable for all of the strikers at the club," he told The Sentinel.
"With the strikers we have here, I think everyone would be disappointed if at least a couple of us didn't hit double figures.
"People label Stoke as long-ball merchants, but I think there is so much more to us than that.
"Since I have been here I have been genuinely surprised by the quality of the players we have."
