Former Blackburn Rovers assistant manager John Jensen admits he still doesn't know why he was dismissed.

The Dane lost his job last month.

Jensen, who is now set to look for employment elsewhere, said: "You expect to get an explanation but there has been no explanation from the club. One day we might get to know the truth.

"The firing was a shock for me. I still don't know why I was fired but the main reason must be the results. When you don't get good results it's a risk that you'll get sacked.

"I am free of Blackburn.

"We have made an agreement that means that I can do whatever I feel like.

"It took some time, yes, but we ended up with an agreement. I can't tell you any details."
