Jenkinson to sign long-term Arsenal deal before second spell with West Ham

Carl Jenkinson is set to sign a long-term deal with Arsenal before being sent on loan to West Ham United.

According to the Daily Mail, the 23-year-old defender has agreed a five-year deal with the Gunners but will spend the 2015/16 Premier League season with the Hammers as he did last term.

It is believed that Jenkinson will sign brand new terms on a deal which will expire in 2020 and land him £45,000-per-week. He will then be sent to Upton Park for a 12-month stint despite interest from Sunderland and Southampton.

Jenkinson has fallen behind Hector Bellerin and Mathieu Debuchy in the right-back stocks at the Emirates Stadium but another impressive campaign with the Hammers is sure to enhance his chances for the future under Arsene Wenger.
