Jenkinson feels he's proved himself Arsenal class
Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson feels he's now first team material.
The 20-year-old was playing in the Conference this time last year while on loan from Charlton Athletic, before leaving the League One club for Arsenal last summer.
"I had a transitional stage, you could say, because it takes time to get used to the top level," Jenkinson told Arsenal.com. "That is obviously natural, the quality between the Premier League and League One.
"Now I feel that stage for me is over and I'm only going to get better and better.""If you make a mistake in the Premier League, nine times out of 10 you get punished, but I feel like I have adjusted to it now though, in the sense that I had one or two games early doors that I could have done better in. Since then I think I have adjusted to it and shown people what I can do.
