Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says he'd never consider signing former players Jordi Gomez and Jason Scotland.

The pair left the Swans last summer for Roberto Martinez's Wigan Athletic.

"Getting Jordi Gomez back is something that's never been discussed," Jenkins told the Swansea Evening Post.

"People talk about him and Jason Scotland a lot, but the fact is that both players left our club.

"They decided they wanted to further their careers elsewhere and that's the end of it really as far as we are concerned."
