Jenas urges Spurs not to "dwell" on Middlesbrough setback

Jermaine Jenas has urged Tottenham not to "dwell" on their opening day defeat at Middlesbrough.

"Perhaps we dwelled on things too long last season," said Jenas, referring Spurs' shock opening day defeat at the hands of the Black Cats last season.

"After six games of the season we were in the bottom three and this club is too good for that. It's important we pick ourselves up, go positively into our first home game next weekend and get that win."

"We wanted to win and the likes of Giovani [dos Santos] and Luka [Modric] have now got a taste of what the Premier League is all about. We'll be ready for next weekend," Jenas told the club's official website.
