Jermaine Jenas was pleased for Tottenham teammate Tom Huddlestone after he made his England debut on Saturday.

Huddlestone's debut as an 82nd-minute sub meant four Tottenham players were involved in the match.

Jenas said: "Tom's done really well this year and he thoroughly deserves his chance.

"We are both from Nottingham and both have similar backgrounds. It was a nice moment for him and I'm really pleased for him.

"Having four Tottenham players involved is a sign of how well we are doing this year and long may it continue."
