Jelavic leaves West Ham for Beijing Renhe

Nikica Jelavic has left West Ham United to join Chinese side Beijing Renhe.

A report from the Daily Mail suggest the Croatian striker has signed with the China League One outfit in a deal worth £4million.

Jelavic joined the Hammers from Hull City in the summer but after only one Premier League start under Slaven Bilic, has departed Upton Park for a fresh start in the Far East.

The former Rangers and Everton man was seen posing in a Renhe scarf on Monday ahead of the completion of the deal.

During his time in the UK, ex-Hajduk Split, Zulte-Waregem and Rapid Vienna forward Jelavic scored 73 goals for 'Gers, the Toffees, the Tigers and the Hammers.
