Jelavic admits Bilic had say in Everton decision

Nikica Jelavic admits Croatia coach Slaven Bilic convinced him about his move to Everton.

He said Bilic, who spent two-and-a-half years with Everton between 1997 and 2000, was pleased he had chosen Goodison Park and that his initial impressions confirmed everything the Croatia boss had told him about the Club.

"We spoke yesterday," he told evertonfc.com. "He told me it's a big Club. Obviously we'll speak again in a couple of weeks because we have an international game but I got a good impression from him.

"It is everything that I thought it would be. Good manager, good people inside, good facilities, everything. So my first impression is very positive."
