Jeju United remained on top of the K-League despite a 1-1 draw with Pohang Steelers on the weekend.
Mota gave the Steelers the lead inside the first ten minutes but the league leaders managed to fight back and earn a point through Hyun-Beom Park who scored in the 67th minute.
Second-placed FC Seoul also were forced to a 1-1 draw when they met Chunnam Dragons away from home leaving them four points behind Jeju.
In other matches in Korea's top flight, Ulsan Horang-i won 2-0 away at Busan I'Park to move to fifth, Gyeongnam jumped to third with a 1-0 home win over Daegu, a Byung-Soo Yoo double helped Incheon United to a 3-2 win over Jeonbuk Motors, Seongnam Ilhwa won 2-1 at Gangwon whilst Gwangju Sangmu drew 1-1 with Suwon Bluewings.
