Jean Beausejour has no doubts about Wigan move

Former Birmingham City winger Jean Beausejour has no doubts about his move to Wigan Athletic.

It may look like he’s jumped from the frying pan into the fire given Wigan’s current predicament, but the tricky winger insists he will not be accepting a second relegation in the space of 12 months without a fight.

“I feel happy since arriving at Wigan and I’m very confident about the rest of the season,” Beausejour told the Wigan Evening Post.

“The feeling around the club is good, very positive, and I firmly believe the future of the club is bright.

“And if we can start Saturday’s game at Bolton the same way we finished the Everton game, I think we have a big chance of getting a win – which would move us closer to safety.”
