Javier Mascherano admits he considered leaving Barcelona this summer.

The defender was linked with Juventus.

“I thought of leaving Barcelona," Mascherano admitted in a Press conference.

“I always felt valued, I've had a lot of opportunities to play but after such a long time you wonder if you can keep going at certain level.

“People asked for me, you know that. But I'm grateful to the club because they believe I can continue to do well here."
