Javier Garrido is delighted with his first days at Lazio.
The Spanish fullback made the move from Manchester City as a replacement for Aleksandar Kolarov, but in pre-season has also been tested on the left side of midfield.
"I am recovering from an injury, so I need time, as I only started training regularly a few days ago," he told lalaziosiamonoi.it.
"I definitely like it here. I'm very happy at Lazio and you can feel the passion of these fans. The squad is excellent and so is the Coach.
"I am a player who can push down the flank, but also defend. I am working hard to understand the movements for a five-man midfield, as I had never really played in this system before."
