Javi Garcia says he's returned to Real Madrid determined to be part of Bernd Schuster's first team squad.

Garcia was re-signed by Real from Osasuna at the end of the season and declared: "They contacted me and said they were counting on me to be part of the first team. It is true that there is sure to be many twists and I do not know what's going to happen over the summer at Real Madrid.

"Signings may arrive at the last minute, but I will do everything possible to stay among the 25."
