Matt Jarvis admits Kevin Doyle's knee injury is a blow to Wolves' survival hopes.
Doyle picked up a knee ligament injury on Republic of Ireland duty which could sideline for the rest of the campaign.
Jarvis said: "I was absolutely gutted for him. To see him coming off with an injury is never nice for anyone.
"He is a vital part of our team and he will be missed.
"But we've got a great squad and whoever comes in will do a fantastic job.
"Obviously we are very disappointed for him because he has been playing extremely well."
