Japan won't have Honda issues at WC - Milan's Seedorf

AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf is supremely confident that Keisuke Honda will be at his best for Japan at the World Cup.

The 27-year old playmaker has primarily struggled since joining the Italian giants from Russian side CSKA Moscow in January but Seedorf suggests he is still adapting to the Serie A.

Honda performed impressively as the Rossoneri beat Fiorentina 2-0 on Wednesday night which prompted the following comments from Seedorf.

"Japan should have no doubts about Honda," Seedorf told reporters. "He's a great player and he's adapting to the Italian game.

"He played a great game and got up and down the pitch well."

Honda has represented the Blue Samurai on 53 occasions, scoring 20 goals, and helping his country win the 2011 AFC Asian Cup.
