Japan's Havenaar nets as Vitesse go equal second in Holland

Mike Havenaar was on target as Vitesse Arnhem beat PEC Zwolle 2-1 in the Dutch Eredivisie on the weekend.

The 25-year old Japanese striker scored his sides second goal in the 35th minute as they edged past Feyenoord to third place on the league table, equal on points with second-placed PSV Eindhoven.

Havenaar added to league leading scorer Wilfried Bony's 27th goal of the season in the ninth minute before Arsenio Valpoort got one back for Zwolle 12 minutes from time.

Vitesse have won their past six league outings and are now just three points behind Eredivisie leaders Ajax.
