Japan international Lee set for Southampton move after visa appeal

The Football Association have granted Tadanari Lee the chance to play in England after his initial work permit application was turned down by the British Embassy.

The Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Japan striker is now set to sign for Championship club Southampton despite the original decision on his visa being a rejection.

The FA see 26-year old Lee as an exceptional talent who can enrich the game in England and have had his work permit granted which will now enable his move from the J-League to Southampton.
