Daryl Janmaat insists Newcastle United is still a big attraction for players.

The Dutch defender is confident a summer of transfer activity will get fans excited again – and he has sent a message out to potential new signings the club will be a great option for those on the radar in the up-and-coming transfer window.

Janmaat told the Evening Chronicle: “Hopefully we have a great squad next season. I have no regrets coming here, I did not make the wrong move.

“It was a great decision to come here because the club is fantastic and so is the Premier League."
