Daryl Janmaat says Newcastle United are ready for their Premier League kickoff against Manchester City.
Newcastle wrapped up their friendly programme with a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad.
Janmaat made his home debut against the La Liga outfit and produced a good attacking display down the right while also showing some neat defensive work in an effective run out.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "We have a good squad.
"We're ready for next week. We played well today, the second half was better than the first.
"The second half was good.
"Now we have to train this week well and be ready for Man City."
